The property is a traditional Cypriot house built of stone with thick walls which make it beautifully cool in summer. Upstairs, accessed by exterior stone stairs or through the house, it has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate shower&wc and a long balcony. Downstairs there is a kitchen/dining room (with a barn door onto the courtyard) and a spacious living room with wood burning stove and stairs leading to the first floor. Access to the courtyard is through French doors.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, gas hob, electric oven, a microwave and a large ceramic sink.
The courtyard is spacious and can accommodate a large pergola and easily, comfortably seat a dozen people. Bougainvillea brings wonderful colours during summer. There is a large water tank on the roof + solar panels and there is an emersion hearter next to the bathroom.
There is space for one car opposite the house and more in the car park just 25 metres away.
Tala is an attractive village with a fountain in the main square, three restaurants, two bars, a little grocery shop, post office, craft shop and an old Greek Orthodox church. A bus service to local villages and shops and onto Paphos operates from close to the centre of the village.
